Last week as I drove a car full of teenagers to go skiing at Trollhaugen through Lindstrom and Center City, my son mentioned our excursions to get photos of unique giant hometown art. We were passing the giant hotdog and miniature statue of liberty (small compared to NYC standards anyway) in Lindstrom, when the subject came up. As we drove past the Lindstrom teapot water tower, his friend mentioned how the giant chef outside of Linwood Pizza always cracks him up as they drive by. My son told his friend about my photo blogs and I said the pizza man was going uup as soon as I had time.
Okay...I have been hiding this guy in my camera since October and now it is time to share! Along County Road 22 about half way between I35 in Wyoming and Hwy 65 in East Bethel, stands this rotating pizza chef outside of Linwood Pizza. You can't miss him and I'd bet he puts a smile on your face too!

Teri, a GIANT pizza chef. I love it!!
Teri, What a happy guy, you'd have to imagine that pizza is fantastic :) I have loved this series from the day you started it!
Gary--This guy is pretty funny to see in person!
Carole--Thanks!! I had to break up the list into hometown and homeowner as it was getting too long. I have a few new hometown ones to add soon. Not too many more homeowner ones...yet. They really are few and far between not in every Minnesotan's front yard. :)
Teri, I love your giant art....Is that unique to your area - or - am I just unaware here? ;-)
TERI, I LOVE Your art work post! So how big is he? He has a huge smile on his face; that is for sure!!
Teri,
You got me thinking about what might be a Lake Geneva distraction.....still thinking. How's the pizza from the Giant Chef?
Teri--They aren't really all over in MN, just here and there. Maybe it is a MN thing. We don't have mountains for landmarks and the big statues break up the corn and wheat fields. :)
Marchel--Not sure his exact size...maybe 3-4 stories? He towers over the restaurant.
Rebecca--We have never eaten there. We usually go to Mansetti's in Ham Lake. But now you have us wondering ourselves and may have to go in for a taste test!
TERI, oh my I had no idea that he was that big but now that I look close I see the building.
Teri, The pizza guy resembles the Statue of Liberty pose as well - Merry Christmas, Karen
