Year End 2010 Snapshot of White Bear Township, MN Home Sales Statistics

The real estate market in White Bear Township did a flipflop of sorts from 2009 to 2010. Where sales were up in White Bear Township, Minnesota in 2009 by 40%, they dropped in 2010 by almost 10%. This northern Ramsey County township saw a rise in days on the market in 2009 by a whopping 49% while this past year it was down by almost 22%. The average home price dropped for the second consecutive year, down almost 9% in 2010 after dropping 15% during 2009. From 2007 to 2008, prices were only down 3% so this 9% combined with last year’s 15% drop has significantly affected prices in this area. The average sales price for a home in White Bear Township is now just under $205,000.

Hi Teri, I have been hearing a lot lately of  some markets that gone beyond the worst of the housing bubble but are now seeing it effects again. I am guessing before all this over, every market will have experienced a bit more of this roller coaster effect.
