The sold signs went up faster on homes in the community of Forest Lake Minnesota in 2010 compared to 2009 as the days on the market before a sale yet again dropped this year. And now the average price is just a bit more than last year too! The average sales price of a home was down nearly 28% in 2009 so even a small increase in average price is a step in the right direction for this north Washington County/east Anoka County community. Closed sales are down almost 12% but sellers received a bit closer to list price so overall Forest Lake has see some improvement in 2010 but many opportunities remain for buyers into 2011.
