Speechless Sunday(Almost)--This is MY Chair! Obstinate lolCat!

lolCat in Chair by Teri Eckholm REALTOR

Our stubborn cat likes to take over almost every chair in the house. Yes...they are all HIS chair! The other day a pillow and stuffed toy were in one of his many favorite spots but that didn't deter our cat from perching on the edge of the chair to try show there was still room for his somewhat oversized rear end! Even in this obviously uncomfortable position, our obstinate feline managed to claim HIS chair!

Teri,

Looks like a pretty confident cat to me. Btw, I've been thinking about you the past few days, hearing about the storms your way.

LOL. One of our cats is getting larger as she gets older, and she has decided the family room love seat is HERS! She usually sleeps on the back, but in the winter she's like a baby! She seeks heat, anywhere she can find it. And since my hubby usually naps on the couch near her, he tosses all the throw pillows onto the love seat. So she gets UNDER them! Be careful where you sit! he he

I often have to move my cat out of the way in order to have a place to sit.  Cat's have an attitude of entitlement that you just learn to live with.

Yes, Teri, cats sure are that way.  For many years, we had a female cat who tried to bite is you moved her out of her spot.

Vegas Bob--Thanks! :)

Tammy--The only time this guy is not on a chair is when he hides under the bed in a thunderstorm!

Wanda--He was sizing me up to see what I was up to...he hates the flash when I take his picture!

Lynda--You are so sweet to worry...we have been safe from the storms. Only one trip to the basement so far this year and our only yard damage was the tree that fell when there was no storm...just an old tree! Tomorrow another weather event is predicted...we are hoping it will be a non-event for our area again. Take care my friend! :)

Lisa--His favorite spot is the giant leather ottoman....but the favorite spot changes depending on time of day! He thinks he owns the house until one of us gives him a hug or two! :)

Cindy--That is it in a nutshell...attitude of entitlement!

Marzena--Muffin has given a nip here and there when he really didn't want to be relocated. :)

Juli--His normal glaring look...he is always giving us the evil cat eye! :)

Teri - That cat is the spittin' image of my friend's cat, "Sausage."  They even have the same girth. . .LOL

He is giving you that "don't mess with me" look.  And I wouldn't.

Teri  My cats (now deceased) would both fuss loudly if I tried to move them

Myrl--Sausage and Muffin! Wonder if cats named after food have a higher tendency to become rotund? lol

Jane--I didn't...just snapped the picture!

Karen--Cats all seem to have such wonderful, albeit bossy, personalities!
