Wordless Wednesday--Thank You Veterans!

American Flag by Teri Eckholm Realtor

Sometimes a flying flag doesn't affect us but on days like Veteran's Day when our country has just had a very vivid reminder at Fort Hood of how lucky we are that there are so many couragous men and women fighting to protect our freedoms, the flag means so much more. This flag flies over White Bear Lake near my office. Just one of many, many symbolic thank you's to our veterans.

Definitely a day of "Thanks", Teri.  So many brave men and women have fought and continue to fight the good fight for our country.

Teri, That is a lovely picture of the flag and I love that it has no tatters.  It is a day to say Thank You.  I think it is great that Applebees provided a free lunch (which my Dad took advantage of) and Bubbles provided a free car wash (which my son took advantage of).

Teri,

The flag represent America, and our servicemen and women have represented it well. :)

Hi Teri,

I'm with you on this one. I've had a flag pole installed in my yard a few years ago, I love seeing Old Glory every single day.

Teri,

We should thank our servicemen and women and Veterans every day of the year.  They have given the most valuable thing they own: their lives.

Thank you all Veterans and servicemen and women!

Teri, I hope we remember to thank them all every day.  Your photo is a beautiful reminder to do just that.

Many of us remember veterans every day, especially when we hear news updates on casualties.
