Doesn't seem that long ago when Snoopy's were scattered throughout St. Paul in honor of Charles Schultz. This was one of our favorites...Snoopy dressed as Minnesota Twin Torii Hunter (before he became an Anahiem Angel).

Teri, That picture is adorable, he belongs with the Artful Distraction series :)
Summer and baseball and then add Snoopy. Sounds like a great time for everyone.
Teri You certainly have cute Snoopy hunters - he is as American as baseball Karen
Teri _ That is just too cute. I had forgotten that Snoopy would have been a big hit in MN.
Teri,
Love that photo and what could be more American. Oh wait.....where's the apple pie? LOL!
Teri
Great picture; Snoopy still looks happy as ever.
Teri, very cute! I would love to see that same picture with what I'll bet are your two boys today. I expect they would make Snoopy look small now.
Carole--There were 2-3 dozen Snoopy's scattered around that summer (followed by Charlie, Lucy, Linus and Snoopy's dog house on subsequent summers). Many are outside of businesses that bought them at the end of summer auction.
Terry and Bonnie--It was a great summer for everyone as the Snoopy hunt was fun! We did go to a baseball game or two...we were there when Torii autographed the statue so it was more valuable for the auction (funds were used to build a bronze sculpture in St. Paul in memory of Charles Schultz).
Karen--They are a little bigger now but still have fond memories of our Snoopy Hunt!
Jennifer--Snoopy and friends dominated the summer for 5 years in St Paul as it was Charles Schultz hometown!
Cynthia--I think that could have been on the menu for later...no it was probably Dairy Queen!
Tom--Gotta smile when you see a Snoopy don't cha?!
Marchel--Great idea! Maybe we will have to find one. I think there is still one at the airport but we usually fly out of the Humphey terminal instead of Lindberg. The kids are quite a bit bigger now as they are starting to tower over me! :)
